INTERFACE APPARATUS BETWEEN LOWER-LEVEL PROCESSOR AND DEVICES IN MOBILE SWITCHING CENTER

PURPOSE: An interfacing apparatus between a lower-level processor and devices in a mobile switching center is provided to control high-speed data transmission and a plurality of devices through a single lower-level processor by embodying a new interface between a lowe-level processor and devices in a mobile switching center and to achieve the system configuration of various forms by supporting both serial and parallel interfaces. CONSTITUTION: Basically the communication between devices and a PP(200) is carried out using a serial common bus together with a parallel common bus. In other words, one-to-one communication is carried out between an MP and the PP(200) through a G-bus(8MHz) or a LAN(10MHz). DPRAM communication is executed between the PP(200) and a plurality of devices installed with the PP(200) in the same backboard. The communication between the PP(200) and a plurality of devices not installed with the PP(200) in the same board is carried out through the serial common bus.
