Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE: A filter media surface washing apparatus of a wastewater filtering equipment is provided, which can wash filter media effectively by interlocking a filter washing device and a layer height measuring device, confirm the loss amount of filter media in advance, diminish the causes of filter tank trouble and extend continuous operating time, thus stably supplying the treated water. CONSTITUTION: The system comprises the followings: (i) a vertical cylindrical filter tank (1) in which a circular pipe (9) is vertically installed at central part to a depth of about two third of the tank from bottom, and in which a block layer (3), a gravel layer (5) and a sand layer (7) are serially filled from bottom; (ii) a backwash water supplying part (23) that is connected to a treated water discharge line (21), the treated water discharge line (21) being installed at a position apart from the center at the bottom of the tank (1); (iii) a treated water discharge line (21) that is connected to the backwash water supplying part (23) and used selectively by operating valves for discharging the water that passed the layers of gravel and sand; (iv) a raw water supplying line (19) that is connected to the end of the vertical circular pipe (9) for feeding water to be treated to the filter tank (1); (v) a backwash air supplying line (26) for backwashing contaminants attached to the filter media; (vi) a contaminant removing part that consists of an upper plate and a lower plate, wherein two horizontal pipes (37,39) are installed on the lower plate, the pipes (37,39) having spraying nozzles formed by 30degree to the horizontal plane and being rotated by back pressure of water sprayed through the nozzles; and (vi) a measuring device (47) for layer height.
