AUTOMATIC RELAY SERVICE DEVICE EMBEDDED IN PBX

PURPOSE: An automatic relay service device embedded in a PBX(Private Branch eXchange) is provided to rapidly and conveniently offer various extrinsic services using call forwarding by automatic answering in a PBX system. CONSTITUTION: An automatic relay service device embedded in a PBX is comprised of a main control part(21), a data storage part(22), a voice processing part(23), a signal processing part(24), a fax processing part(25), and a system interface part(26). The main control part(21) takes charge of a function to process messages for call control, state management or maintenance. The data storage part(22) stores voice data for voice information and keeps fax data. The voice processing part(23) receives a command from the main control part(21), synthesizes the voice data of the data storage part(22), and sends a voice information message. The signal processing part(24) detects various call progress tones, such as a busy tone, a ring back tone, a ringing tone, etc., a DTMF tone and a fax calling tone from the PCM data inputted from a TDM(Time Division Multiplex) interface system. The fax processing part(25) processes the fax signal inputted from the system interface part(26). The system interface part(26) takes charge of the input and output of TDM PCM signals.
