Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE: Provided is a method for fermenting paper slurry using a helical ribbon agitator to increase the productivity of alcohol. CONSTITUTION: The method for fermenting paper slurry is characterized by the following steps of: i) obtaining dissociated paper which contains 57% cellulose by adding used paper and 2L of distilled water into a disintegrator and centrifuging the paper at 1000rpm for 15 minutes; ii) adding the dissociated paper, medium containing 2% of corn steep liquor, 30FPU/g of cellulase, and 13.3 IU/g of beta-glucosidase to citrate buffer of pH 4.8 during an early stage of fermentation intermittently; and iii) agitating the mixture by a helical ribbon agitator.
