Zusammenfassung: | PURPOSE: A method for extracting fault line connection details in a communication network is provided to extract line connection details using a transmission facility database, a line database and a fault database in order to rapidly catch the flow of damage status due to a fault generated on a line. CONSTITUTION: If a fault line is generated in a communication network(202), a fault line connection details extraction system receives it through an operator or a centralized operation and maintenance system and judges whether the fault line is an optical terminal, a DS3-class line or a DS1-class line(203). In case that the fault line is the optical terminal, the system gets detailed optical cable connection information(204). If the fault line is the DS3-class line, the system gets the detailed connection information of an optical terminal pass(205). In case that the fault line is the DS1-class line, the system gets the connection details information of a DS3-class pass(206). If the connection details of the fault line are obtained, the system gets a detailed breakdown of transmission devices using a transmission facility database(207). In case that a fault alarm has been generated from the transmission devices, the system obtains various information for the fault using a fault database(208). Finally, the system generalizes and displays the connection details of the fault line, transmission device detailed information and fault information(209). |
