LIGHTING SWITCH FOR EMERGENCY LAMP OPERATING AUTOMATICALLY IN EMERGENCY

PURPOSE: An automatic lighting switch of an emergency lamp is provided to improve convenience and drive safely by automatically turning on an emergency lamp without lighting on by a driver in an emergency. CONSTITUTION: An automatic emergency lamp lighting switch is composed of an upper steering column(2), a lower steering column(1), and a detecting unit at the lower steering column detecting an emergency state. First and second supporting plates(10,11) are formed in upper and lower steering columns, and a spring(16) is mounted between first and second supporting plates. A steering column guide(17) of the upper steering column is inserted to a passage of the lower steering column, and contacted to a contact plate(14). A pressure detecting sensor(15) is installed in a lower face of the contact plate. The upper steering column is pushed with moving the upper body of a driver forward in an emergency to detect by the pressure detecting sensor with applying pressure to the contact plate.
