Zusammenfassung: | PURPOSE: A method for improving the internal shape of a blast furnace is provided to improve fluid permeability to increase productivity, and dissolve the stationary layer to remove the accumulation of fine powder at the center part of the furnace, thereby increasing the injection amount of pulverized coal by installing an artificial dead man at the bottom of the furnace so that the funnel flow of solids is changed into the mass flow type up to the tuyere height level. CONSTITUTION: The method for improving the internal shape of a blast furnace is characterized in that the shape of an artificial dead man (10) manufactured of graphite bricks having a less wall friction coefficient with cokes and a less consumption rate for hot metal of a high temperature saturated with carbon is regulated in the center part of the bottom of an existing blast furnace as follows so that the height of the stationary layer of cokes, that is, the dead man top layer is descended to the height of tuyere level (11): a relative height (a distance between the furnace bottom and the upper surface of the artificial dead man (R1)/a distance (H0) between the furnace bottom (12) and a tuyere (6)), a relative width (a width of the upper surface of the artificial dead man/a diameter of the furnace bottom) and an inclined degree of angle (a degree of angle between the bottom surface (12) of the artificial dead man and the inclined surface). |
