Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE: A thermal control for test and measurement instrument is provided to control a variable fan by detecting an environmental temperature of an electronic apparatus and temperatures of specified constituent elements arranged in eth electronic apparatus, and by using the temperatures. CONSTITUTION: A thermal control system is equipped with an apparatus, having heat generating constituent elements, variable speed fans for supplying cooling air for the apparatus, a first thermal detection node circuit(140e) for detecting the environmental temperature and generating an environmental temperature indication signal, second thermal detection node circuits(140a-140d) arranged in the apparatus, which detect temperatures in specified constituent elements consuming power at an almost constant rate and generates a feedback signal, and a control device(150) for controlling the speed of the variable speed fan.
