METHOD FOR PRODUCING TRIFLUOROMETHYL DIHYDRO-1,4-DIOXINE

PURPOSE: A method for producing trifluoromethyl dihydro-1,4-dioxine is provided, which is useful as agricultural chemicals or antiviral agents. CONSTITUTION: The method for producing trifluoromethyl dihydro-1,4-dioxin represented by formula (1) comprises the steps of: removing alkylthio protector of compounds represented by formula (9) to produce compounds represented by formula (10) or (11); dehydrating compounds of formula (10) or (11) to produce compounds represented by formula (12); hydrolyzing compounds of formula (12) to produce compounds represented by formula (13); and reacting compounds or formula (13) with amines or esters, in which R is amino(-NR1(R2)) or alkoxy(-OR3), wherein R1 and R2 are the same or different, hydrogen or C1-C6 alkyl, C6-C10 aryl, halogen, substituted or unsubstituted C1-C6 alkyl with halogen, C1-C6 alkoxy, substituted or unsubstituted C1-C6 alkylthio with halogen, substituted phenyl with at least one group selected from the group consisting of -NO2, -CN, -OH, -SH, -C6H5, -C(O)R3 and -C(O)OR3; R3 is hydrogen or C1-C6 alkyl; and R4 and R5 are independently C1-C10 alkyl, C6-C10 aryl or C6-C10 aralkyl.
