Zusammenfassung: | PURPOSE: A method for setting a call of an asynchronous transmitting mode exchanger is provided to process a call requested from a transmitting terminal by using one call processing unit child process. CONSTITUTION: A transmitting terminal dials a telephone number of a receiving terminal and transmits a set-up message to a transmitting port(201). A transmitting port receives the set-up message from the transmitting terminal and transmits the received set-up message to a call processing unit main process(202). The call processing unit main process creates a call processing unit child process and transmits the set-up message to the call processing unit child process(203). The call processing unit child process transmits the set-up message to a number transmitting unit(204). The number transmitting unit decides whether the set-up message is a self-station call or a repeating call(205). If the set-up message is a repeating call, a result message of the repeating call is transmitted to the call processing unit child process(206). The call processing unit child process transmits the set-up message to a repeating call processor(207). Another exchanger performs a call processing using a receiving terminal(208). If the set-up message is the self-station call, a result message of the self-station call is transmitted to the call processing unit child process(209). The call processing unit child process sets a flag thereof as a true(210). The call processing unit child process demands a VPI/VCI resource allocation to a resource managing unit(211). The resource managing unit allocates the VPI/VCI resource for transmitting/receiving an ATM cell(212). The call processing unit child process sets a flag for confirming an allocation of transmitting/receiving resource(213). The call processing unit child process transmits the set-up message to a receiving port(214). The receiving port transmits the set-up message to the receiving terminal(215). The call processing unit child process receives a connection message responded to the set-up message and transmits the connection message to the transmitting port. |
