TELEPHONE NUMBER INFORMATION GUIDE AND EDIT SYSTEM USING CALLER TELEPHONE NUMBER AND METHOD THEREOF

PURPOSE: A telephone number information guide and edit system using a caller telephone number and a method thereof are provided to guide caller ID and telephone number information such as position information, name card information and personal information, etc. with respect to other telephone number that the caller wants in a communication system and edit the same by the caller. CONSTITUTION: In a telephone number information guide system(12), a telephone number information database(24) manages telephone number information such as basic information, position information, name card information, personal information and additional information. A call processing apparatus(21) receives a telephone number corresponding to the telephone number information that the user wants, from an outgoing telephone set(11) and provides a character search result from the telephone number information search apparatus(22) to the outgoing telephone set(11). A telephone number information search apparatus(22) searches corresponding telephone information in the telephone number information corresponding to the telephone number detected by the call processing apparatus(21) from the telephone number information database(24) and transfers a result of the search to the call processing apparatus(21) and the character-to-audio converter(23).
