Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE: Provided are novel glaucoma-coding DNA sequences to understand better causes and mechanism of glaucoma and to develop more effective diagnosis kits. CONSTITUTION: The novel sequences of glaucoma-coding DNA substitute thymine for cytosine at the site of 46th arginine of conventional glaucoma-coding DNA sequence to be stop codon and thymine for cytosine at the site of 353th threonine of conventional glaucoma-coding DNA sequence to express isoleucine. Additionally, a method for selecting DNA sequences is characterized by the next steps of: i) collecting DNA from glaucoma patients and multiplying DNA through PCR; ii) selecting mutants through Cold-single strand conformational polymorphism; and iii) determining DNA sequences of the mutants.
