DISPLAY DEVICE

PURPOSE: To simplify the circuit constitution of a second electrode drive circuit by using a common circuit constitution for a scan drive circuit and a second electrode sustain circuit. CONSTITUTION: Scan signals DSCN outputted from a waveform control circuit 11 are inputted into a shift register 18 of an n-th line drive circuit 2n, serial- parallel converted and successively supplied to logic circuits 12 to 19 of first to n-th line drive circuits 2a to 2n. Then, the signals are amplified by drive circuits 13 and 20, power MOSFETs 14, 15, 21 and 22 and supplied to second electrodes Y1 to Yn as scan pulses. Sustain pulses DYS of the electrodes Y1 to Yn are inputted into the circuit 19 as well as the circuit 12, amplified by the circuits 20 and 13, the MOSFETs 21, 22, 14 and 15 and supplied to the electrodes Y1 to Yn as sustain pulses.
