Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE: The method for switching and holding the call of a private line subscriber is provided to switch the call to another subscriber that has not an idle state and thereby hold the call, when one subscriber who uses a private switching center fails to receive the call. CONSTITUTION: It is determined if a call signal is received from outside(S100). If the call signal is received, the private line subscriber corresponding to the call signal is determined(S200), and then the call signal is connected to the corresponding subscriber(S300). It is determined if the call signal that is making a call has to be switched to one of private line subscribers(S400). The state of the subscriber to whom the call signal is switched, is checked(S500). The state of the subscriber thereto is busy(S600), the private line to which the call signal is switched is selected(S700). The call signal is switched to the selected private line in order to be held(S800).
