APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR REMOVING SPURIOUS SIGNAL IN DUAL BAND WIRELESS TERMINAL

PURPOSE: An apparatus for removing a spurious signal in a dual band wireless terminal is provided to connect an output line of an unselected band with a ground by using a band selection signal, thereby removing the spurious signal. CONSTITUTION: A coupler(100) inputs a dual band of wireless transmit signal, and performs a coupling output for the signal. A spurious remover(110) selectively outputs one of signals inputted from the coupler(100) by a predetermined control signal, and intercepts remaining signals. An antenna switch(120) is operated by the predetermined control signal, and transmits the signal outputted from the spurious remover(110) to an antenna. A controller controls entire operations of a wireless terminal, and outputs a control signal according to a band selection(digital cellular system(DCS) or global system for mobile(GSM)) and a transceiving state, then controls the spurious remover(110) and the antenna switch(120).
