LUMINESCENT COMPOSITION FOR ORGANIC ELECTROLUMINESCENT ELEMENT AND PRODUCTION THEREOF

PURPOSE: A luminescent composition used as luminescent materials in a process for the manufacture of an organic electroluminescent element and prepared by using zinc sulfide as sphalerite or zinc mixtures and process for the preparation thereof are provided, which can form a luminescent layer having a long life, maintaining high brightness and excellent in durability. CONSTITUTION: In a luminescent composition for organic electroluminescent element for forming a luminescent layer comprising at least one color, the composition comprises 30 to 45% by weight of organic matter comprising a Zinc and copper mixture (Zn+Cu) or zinc sulfide (ZnS) for forming the luminescent; 15 to 35% by weight of an organic based copolymer binder for coating inorganic matter as an illuminant and binding; 15 to 40% by weight of a diluent for adjusting the viscosity of a mixture of the inorganic matter as an illuminant and the organic based copolymer binder; and 0.1 to 5% by weight of a dispersing agent and settling agent each for maintaining the density of the inorganic matter as an illuminant uniformly.
