Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE: An Acremonium strictum strain, hyperparasite of Botrytis cinerea and a method for inhibiting diseases caused by Botrytis cinerea using the same are provided for substituting chemical insecticides with biological insecticides, so that they do not cause the contamination of nature. CONSTITUTION: Acremonium strictum BCP strain (KCTC 0639BP) is hyperparasite of Botrytis cinerea and is useful in inhibiting and treating the diseases caused by Botrytis cinerea. All plants, which may be infected by Botrytis cinerea, such as cucumber and tomato, may be treated with Acremonium strictum BCP strain (KCTC 0639BP) in an effective amount so as to inhibit plant diseases, in which the amount of Acremonium strictum BCP strain (KCTC 0639BP) is in the range of 1x104 to 3x108 spores/ml, preferably 1x106 to 3x107 spores/ml.
