BACKUP/RESTORE METHOD OF RELATIONAL DATABASE AND METHOD FOR MONITORING CAPACITY

PURPOSE: A backup/restore method of a relational database and a method for monitoring a capacity are provided to backup/restore every relational database and to backup/restore while an application program is performed. CONSTITUTION: A database archiver is outputted on a monitor by a GUI(Graphic User Interface)(204) to decide a backup/restore objective period and a storing medium and to select the backup/restoration by a user. In deciding and selecting by the user, a user configured definition file(206) defining backup/restore conditions is checked by deciding a backup/restoring data with a table unit. The database(200) and the decided storing medium are backup/restored according to the conditions about the defined table in the user configured definition file.
