MAGNETIC DISKETTE FOR DISK DRIVE

PURPOSE: A magnetic diskette for a disk drive is to prevent an interference with other components in the disk drive when inserting or ejecting into/from the disk drive, thereby previously preventing a damage of the diskette. CONSTITUTION: A magnetic diskette for a disk drive comprises a case(100) having a space portion in which the magnetic diskette is inserted, an opening hole(110) formed to expose the magnetic diskette by a desired width along an inserting direction, and a guiding face having a desired width based on the opening hole; and a shutter formed to enclose a front, upper and lower face of the case and having an upper and lower guiding piece(310,320) which selectively opens or closes the opening hole while slidably moving along the guide face, a connecting piece(330) integrally connecting the upper and lower guiding piece and a deformation preventing portion for preventing a separation of the upper and lower guiding piece. In the diskette, the deformation preventing portion is a bent piece(400) extended from an end of the upper and lower guiding piece at an angle. The angle of the bent piece is 5 to 90 °.
