MAGNETIC DISKETTE FOR DISK DRIVE

PURPOSE: A magnetic diskette for a disk drive is to prevent an entering of an extraneous matter generated during operation of a shutter into an inner portion of a case, thereby previously preventing contamination of the diskette and a magnetic head. CONSTITUTION: A magnetic diskette for a disk drive comprises a case(100) having a space portion in which the magnetic diskette is inserted, an opening hole(110) formed to expose the magnetic diskette by a desired width along an inserting direction, and a guiding face having a desired width based on the opening hole; and a shutter(300) formed to enclose a front, upper and lower face of the case and selectively open or close the opening hole while slidably moving along the guide face; an extraneous matter preventing portion for preventing an entrance of an extraneous matter through the opening hole into the case due to a sliding of the shutter. In the diskette, the foreign substance preventing portion comprises a first shielding wall(400) extended on a guiding face(120) of the case in the same direction as an inserting direction of the case to have a desired height; and a second shielding wall(500) formed to be adjacent to the first shielding wall in the same direction and have an embossing portion(510) at an upper face thereof.
