Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE: A method of making artificial wood of multi-complex structure by extraction process and apparatus using in the method are provided to continuously make a light weighted and high strength artificial wood in a single extraction process without additional processes such as a calendering or pressing process. CONSTITUTION: In a method of making artificial wood of multi-complex structure by extraction process and apparatus using in the method, the method is characterized in that a cellulosic material and a synthetic resin are mixed and compressed in an extruder(10) of high temperature and simultaneously moisture content of the mixture is controlled, the fused mixture is branched as an inner mixture and an outer mixture, and then the branched mixtures are integrated under a proper foaming pressure, whereby the light weighted and high strength artificial wood having a central section of a medium density, a middle section of a low density, and an outer section of a high density is obtained.
