Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE: A discharge electrode for a plasma display panel is provided to improve the brightness on a plasma display panel screen by minimizing increasing of consumption power and decreasing of transmission factor. CONSTITUTION: A discharge sustain electrode for a plasma display panel comprises a transparent electrode(16) and a metal electrode(17). A plurality of through holes(18) are formed in the transparent electrode(16). The metal electrode is patterned at one side of the transparent electrode(16). In a case where the width of the transparent width(16), the radius of the through hole(18) is formed so as to have about 30 to 50 micrometers.
