CONTROL METHOD OF MANUSCRIPT DISCHARGE STATE OF IMAGE READING DEVICE

PURPOSE: A control method of a manuscript discharge state of an image reading device is provided to detect the present position of a manuscript when the manuscript is supplied again after a stoppage of the supply of an initial scanning position due to a system error or power blocking and to keep the manuscript from the initial scanning position. CONSTITUTION: Upon a normal scanning work, a central processing unit(11) establishes a position value of a manuscript as 1. The central processing unit temporarily stores the established position value in a RAM of a system memory(112). When power is supplied again after a user blocks the power, a system is initialized. In selecting a scanning work, the central processing unit checks a supplied state of the manuscript through a manuscript monitoring sensor(110). In case that the manuscript is not supplied, the central processing unit picks up and transfers the manuscript to the initial scanning position. Then, the central processing unit controls to perform the normal scanning work.
