APPARATUS FOR ADJUSTING IMAGE QUALITY OF AUDIO/VIDEO SYSTEM

PURPOSE: An apparatus for adjusting an image quality improves an image quality by accentuating a luminance signal thereby obtaining a desired screen by selecting the luminance signal. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus comprises a first limiter(10) for limiting a level of an inputted luminance signal in a predetermined band, a luminance signal differentiater(20) for differentiating the luminance signal through the first limiter, a second limiter(30) for limiting a level of a luminance signal outputted from the luminance signal differentiater in a predetermined band, a low band filter(40) for low-band filtering the inputted luminance signal, and a luminance signal amplifing unit(50) for mixing the luminance signal obtained from the low band filter and a differential luminance signal obtained from the second limiter, and amplifying the mixed signal in a desired level, to output an accentuated signal. The luminance signal is adjusted to have a same frequency.
