Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE: A structure in which a Venturi tube is positioned upwardly, is provided to prevent fuel leakage at an end of the Venturi tube caused by an erroneous operation of a check valve. CONSTITUTION: A fuel tank(50) has at an interior thereof a reservoir(20) having a fuel pump(10) arranged within the reservoir so as to pump the fuel from the fuel tank and convey the fuel to a carburetor. A Venturi tube(11) is arranged at an end of the fuel pump in such a manner that the Venturi tube is directed upwardly, to thereby prevent fuel leakage at an end portion of the Venturi tube. Thus, even when a check valve(30) disposed within the reservoir operates erroneously, the residual fuel within the reservoir prevents a delay of start-up of motor vehicle.
