METHOD AND DEVICE FOR LOADING OPERATING PROGRAM ON SIGNAL DEVICE WITHIN MOBILE COMMUNICATION EXCHANGE

PURPOSE: A method for loading an operating program on a signal device within a mobile communication exchange, is provided to directly re-load firmware data and tone data on a flash memory within the signal device by an operation maintenance processor(OMP), or to update the data. CONSTITUTION: An operation maintenance processor(OMP) decides whether a loading instruction signal is inputted. If not, the first step is re-performed, and if so, the OMP notifies the version of firmware data stored in a magnetic transport unit(MTU) to a local service processor(LSP). The LSP transmits a version notifying control signal to many signal devices through a telephony device(TD)-bus. The signal devices notify the version of firmware data stored in self flash memories to the LSP. Whether the version of firmware data to be loaded in the OMP by the LSP and the version notified in the signal devices are equal is decided. If not, the LSP transmits a loading signal to the OMP. The OMP reads the firmware data stored in the MTU and tone data, and transmits the read data to the LSP. The LSP loads the received data on the flash memories installed within the signal devices.
