MULTI-FUNCTIONAL TELEPHONE SYSTEM USING INTERNET NETWORK AND PUBLIC SWITCHED TELEPHONE NETWORK

PURPOSE: A multi-functional telephone system is provided to receive/transmit voice data to a public switched telephone network(PSTN) and to receive/transmit advertising/service data to an internet network, so as to obtain high speech quality and to supply various services. CONSTITUTION: A multi-functional telephone(110) is connected to a personal computer(PC)(100) and a public switched telephone network(PSTN) to process voice data. A speech controller(110) connected to the PSTN through a local line performs functions of detecting rings, delivering the rings, monitoring speech states, and controlling calls. A key inputting circuit(113) inputs telephone numbers and various controlling commands. A displayer(114) displays speech states, monitoring results, and inputted states. The displayer displays a telephone number of a transmitter analyzed in a main controller(111). The main controller transmits the control commands to the speech controller to perform a command required by a user. The main controller inputs speech controlled states to transmit the states to the PC. The main controller performs analog to digital(A/D) or digital to analog(D/A) conversions. The PC is connected to the multi-functional telephone, and equips a telephone controlling program module, to perform transceiving/combining functions of various internet data. An operation server(130) supplies services for web site operations and various internet contents.
