Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE: A method for drying a ceramic preliminary molding material is provided to dry a ceramic preliminary molding material functioned as a reinforcement material when making a metal composite material by using a squeeze casting method. CONSTITUTION: A ceramic preliminary molding material having a binder and a reinforcement material is mounted in a cavity. A microwave is applied to the ceramic preliminary molding material, a moisture is removed from the ceramic molding material, and a drying operation is performed. While the ceramic preliminary molding material is rotated, a microwave is uniformly illuminated. A frequency of the microwave is 20-30GHz. Thereby, when making a metal composite material by using a squeeze casting method, a ceramic preliminary molding material functioned as a reinforcement material is dried.
