NOVEL ARP2 PROTEIN AND CODING GENE THEREFOR

PURPOSE: Provided is a novel angiopoietin-Y2 gene and recombinant blast inducing protein, in particular nucleotide sequence of angiopoietin-Y2 gene which is isolated from cDNA library of human and mouse hearts, amino acid sequence thereof and recombinant angiopoietin-Y2 protein which induces germination by expressing the gene. Thereby the development of therapeutic agent for ischemic disorder is processing. CONSTITUTION: A novel angiopoietin-Y2 gene and a recombinant blast inducing protein are prepared by the steps of: cloning angiopoietin-Y2 gene by performing PCR on cDNA library of human and mouse heart using primer; sub-cloning PCR reactants using PCR- Blunt vector; isolating full cDNA by RACE method and assaying nucleotide sequence thereof; sub-cloning angiopoietin-Y2 gene using pcDNA3.1/Myc-His; transferring the resulted recombinant gene to COS-7 cell; culturing the COS-7 cell then purifying culture broth and lysat using Ni-NTA gel; and identifying angiopoietin-Y2 protein of 66 kda by western blotting method using Myc antibody.
