METHOD FOR TRANSMITTING IMAGE FILES TO BACKGROUND SCREENS OF CELLULAR PHONES

PURPOSE: A method for transmitting image files to background screens of cellular phones is provided, so that users can insert background images with required photos or pictures onto liquid crystal display(LCD) screens of cellular phones. CONSTITUTION: A method for transmitting image files to background screens of cellular phones comprises the steps of: making a user photograph a self image by using a digital camera; deciding whether data of a background screen has to be synthesized with the image, and if so, synthesizing famous photos or pictures with the image to generate a digital image file for being transmitted to a server; if the data is not synthesized, deciding the self image as an image file; uploading the image file to the server through a terminal computer; temporarily storing the image file in a voice mail database, and delivering an arrival message with the image file to a number of a cellular phone through a short message transmission; making a corresponding terminal owner identify a short message to decide whether the image file is downloaded; and if the owner identifies the short message and suspends the terminal without selecting any call buttons, waiting for a while, and if the image file is not downloaded, deleting the image file in the voice mail database.
