Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE: A method of removing material from a part of a plate is provided which is suitable for powder blasting by means of a powder-blasting technique, using a blasting mask. CONSTITUTION: A method comprises the steps of providing a photosensitive, blast-resistant layer; exposing the layer with the desired pattern; developing the layer; producing at least one jet of abrasive powder particles; directing the jet onto the surface of the mask formed by the patterned layer, which mask is present on the plate to be processed; performing a relative movement between the jet and the plate with the patterned mask, and removing the blast-resistant layer after the blasting process.
