Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE: A method for preventing ink diffusion in an ink jet output type terminal is provided to control printing speed to discharge a paper after injected ink on the paper is dried by controlling a printing time of a next line according to a measured amount of used ink, thereby preventing loss of data generated by the carelessness of a user. CONSTITUTION: A method for preventing ink diffusion in an ink jet output type terminal includes the steps of determining existence of data to print in the terminal(S100), computing the number of dot of ink required for printing the data by a predetermined unit when existence of data is determined(S300), printing the data on a printing paper by the predetermined unit by starting an operation of a timer corresponding to the computed number of dot(S400, S500), determining whether the operation of the timer is finished after the printing(S600), and conveying the paper by the predetermined unit if the operation of the timer is finished(S700).
