Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE: A method for producing a shaped and unshaped polyol composition is provided which produces continuously powdered composition comprising each ingredient of same concentration in same ratio. The composition produced by the method has a delayed modification property and produces a tablet, a compact, a lozenge and a hard candy having improved characteristics. CONSTITUTION: A composition for the production of the tablet, the compact, the lozenge and the hard candy comprises one or more polyols selected from the group consisting of xylitol, sorbitol, lactitol, martitol, erythritol and mannitol, optionally carbohydrates selected from the group consisting of starch and cellulose. Also, the composition comprises two or more polyols mixed by co-spray. The method for producing plastic shaped and unshaped masses comprises the steps of: extruding the composition at a range of 30-170°C, especially 40-110°C; optionally shaping the polyol masses in the engraved roller or automatic rolling device.
