Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE: Simply unsaturated polyolefins and functionalized derivatives thereof which are able to be used as fuel additives and lubricant additives or concentrate of the additives are provided. CONSTITUTION: A simply unsaturated polyolefins are obtained by catalytic dimerization of at least simply unsaturated olefin-oligomers and has a number mean molecular weight in the range of 400-1,500 dalton and a dispersibility of Mw/Mn less than 1.2 and at least mono-ethylenic unsaturation. The derivatives of the polyolefins are able to be obtained by functionalizing at least a double bond of the polyolefin.
