APPARATUS FOR CAPTURING OBJECTS OF TELEVISION PROGRAM

PURPOSE: An apparatus for capturing objects of a television program is provided to capture an object of a user's preference so as to store the captured object in another display or to print the captured image. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for capturing objects of a television program includes a MODT decoder(107), an object data memory(108), a controller(109), and an output device(111). The object capturing apparatus is included in the television having a remote receiver(102), a demultiplexor(104), and a display(106). The MODT(media object description table) decoder(107) decodes the auxiliary information data divided to a MODT data at the demultiplexor. The object data memory(108) stores the auxiliary information data divided at the MODT decoder. The controller(109) controls the inverse multiplexor according to the signal of the remote receiver, read the MODT data stored in the memory and generates a control signal corresponding to the read MODT data. The controller further generates a control signal for displaying a variety of auxiliary information. The output device(111) displays the MODT corresponding to the object captured in a converted form such as a picture file or print the MODT data.
