Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE: An organic electroluminescent display device made of an organic compound emits red light with high luminescence efficiency. CONSTITUTION: On the organic electroluminescent display device, a first electrode layer, a cathode layer, a hole transporting layer, an anode layer, and a second electrode layer are stacked on the transparent insulation substrate in sequence. A mixed layer between a first electrode layer and a second electrode layer has a light-emitting material made of a mixture of compounds. The compound includes a 8-R2,-10-R3-1,7-tetramethyljuliodinine. Thus the compound minimizes a concentration quenching while emitting a light with wavelength of 590-640 nm.
