TELEPHONE/FACSIMILE COMMON INTERFACE OF ANALOG FACSIMILE SYSTEM

PURPOSE: A telephone/facsimile common interface of an analog facsimile system is provided to use one codec(coder/decoder) of the telephone and the facsimile. CONSTITUTION: A telephone/facsimile common interface of an analog facsimile system includes a switching circuit(100), a switching controller(200), a codec(300), and a digital communication connection controller(400). The switching circuit(100) adjusts gains for first and second signal path so as to make each required signal magnitude is met. The switching controller(200) switches a plurality of multiplexors included in the switching circuit according to the operation mode of the facsimile by generating a multiplexer control signal into the switching circuit. The codec(300) converts a first and second digital signals for which the gains are adjusted to different values into a first and second analog signals. The digital communication connection controller(400) receives dialing information from a facsimile system and converts the input signal to a signal meeting the specification required for the digital communication network.
