Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE: An apparatus for processing auxiliary information of a television receiver and a method thereof is provided to process vertical synchronous signal more stably. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for processing auxiliary information of a television receiver includes an image signal generator(31), an auxiliary signal processor(32) and an image signal adder(33). The image signal generator(31) generates analog mixed image signal. The auxiliary signal processor(32) processes the interval at which real image signal is absent before and after the vertical synchronous signal with a digital signal. The image signal adder(33) adds the mixed image signal from the image signal generator and the digital signal from the auxiliary signal processor to form a mixed image signal of a new format.
