AIR CONDITIONER FOR BOTH COOLING AND HEATING

PURPOSE: An air conditioner for both cooling and heating is provided to enhance the heating performance of an air conditioner, to protect a heating unit and to prevent accidents by sufficiently heating an indoor space with the heating unit. CONSTITUTION: When a heating unit operates after a door(105) is removed from a lower panel(14), plural halogen heaters(102) radiates heat and light. The heat and light is radiated to the front face of a body(1) by a reflecting plate(101). The heat is equally dispersed when it passes a dispersing plate(103). Then, the heat is transferred to an indoor space through a heating port(14a) after passing a heating grill(104). When the temperature of indoor air rises with the heat, the hot air rises up and heats the indoor space at a proper temperature. Also, each halogen heater emits ultra violet rays so healing effect as to be expected.
