Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE: A liquid crystal display is to improve the aperture ratio and the display quality. CONSTITUTION: A pixel of a TFT-LCD (thin film transistor-liquid crystal display) includes aN-th data wiring(16) and a N+1-th data wiring(18) in a row. The Nth data wiring has a source electrode(6), and is electrically connected with the source electrode. The pixel includes a gate wiring(2) in a column, and a gate electrode(4) is formed on the gate wiring. The gate electrode is formed in an L shape to have an aperture ratio. A pixel electrode(12) is electrically connected with the drain electrode through a contact hole(10) formed on the drain electrode. The TFT-LCD is constructed such that the data wiring and the gate wiring are overlaid with at least a portion of the pixel electrode to improve the aperture ratio.
