HEAD OPERATING APPARATUS OF REMOVABLE CARTRIDGE DIRVE

PURPOSE: A head operating apparatus of removable cartridge drive is to properly control an opening width of the cartridge door and allow the usage of plural heads structure capable of corresponding to high capacity. CONSTITUTION: A head operating apparatus of removable cartridge drive comprises: a driver(100) for driving disk mounted in a removable cartridge; a head(112); a swing arm(110) coupled to the head, disposed perpendicularly to the shortest radius line at the mid point of the shortest radius of disk and having a minimum movement width in horizontal direction; and a head locker(120) for ascending or descending the head and which is vertically driven by a solenoid(122) installed below the driver. The swing arm is driven by a voice coil motor(114).
