CONTROL METHOD OF VCR/CD COMPOSITE PRODUCT

PURPOSE: A control method of VCR/CD composite product is to record the position information of a CD data using a TOC data on the video tape as a VISS(Video index search system) mark, thereby effectively performing the reproduction and search of a recorded data. CONSTITUTION: A control method of VCR/CD composite product comprises the steps of: inputting a key input signal for performing a simple recording mode; transmitting into an OSD(On screen display) part a TOC(Table of contents) data which the number of musics recorded at the CD, a time for the reproduction of each of the musics and a total reproduction time, and addresses on a first portion of each music and an index portion are recorded at a read-in area of the CD; allowing the OSD part to process the TOC data as an OSD data; recording the TOC data at a video track of the video tape; and recording the initial portion data of the CD track at a video tape as VISS mark for a constant time.
