POWER ULTRASONIC TRANSDUCER

PURPOSE: A power ultrasonic transducer is provided to achieve an operation in synchronism and to facilitate ultrasonic cleaning and chemical reaction. CONSTITUTION: A power ultrasonic transducer comprises an ultrasonic generator(3) consisting of two pairs of piezoelectric ceramic elements(4) and a counter mass(5), a body(2) receiving the ultrasonic generator(3), transmitting rods(6) at both sides of the ultrasonic generator(3), an electric wire for power supply(8) passing through the piezoelectric ceramic elements(4), counter mass(5) and transmitting rods(6), and a threaded stud(7) fixing the electric wire(8) at the outside of the body(2). The body(2) is hollow and has a length which is equal to a multiple of a half wavelength. The transmitting rods(6) are at both sides of the ultrasonic generator(3). Each transmitting rod(7) has a length which is equal to a multiple of a half wavelength. 본 발명은 파우어 초음파 트랜스듀서(Power Ultrasonic Transducer)에 관한 것으로, 특히 초음파 세척, 화학반응의 촉진 등에 사용되는 초음파 트랜스듀서에 관한 것인데, 그 목적은 한 개의 초음파 발생기(ultrasonic generator)를 이용하여 두 개의 초음파 발생기를 이용한 경우에 발생되는 특성의 불일치 문제를 해결하고 효율을 높일 수가 있는 초음파 트랜스듀서를 제공하는데 있다. 본 발명의 구성은 초음파 트랜스듀서에 있어서, 동일축상에서 연속되게 접하는 압전세라믹소자(4) 2쌍과 이 압전세라믹소자(4) 양단에 위치한 카운터메스(5)로 구성된 초음파 발생기(3)를 내부가 비어 있는 반파장(λ/2)의 정수(n)배 길이를 갖는 바디(2) 속에 위치시키고, 이 초음파 발생기(3)의 양쪽에 반파장(λ/2)의 정수(n)배 길이를 갖는 원통형구조의 트랜스미팅 로드(6)를 사용하여 바디(body, 2)의 한쪽 면과 초음파 발생기(3)의 한쪽 면에 연결하여 고정시키고, 상기 바디(2) 내부에 위치한 압전세라믹소자(4), 카운터메스(5), 트랜스미팅 로드(6)의 내부를 관통한 전원공급기용 전기배선(8)을 바디(2)의 외부 일측단에서 쓰레디드 스터드(7)로 고정시켜 배선시킨다.
