Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE: A method for operating server system in which operating system is basically mounted is provided to decrease a loss of a user using an internet electronic commercial transaction server, a web server or a mail server by adopting not a hard disk but a flash memory or a ROM to perform a booting. CONSTITUTION: A booting is performed as system basic information(11) inserted into a CMOS BIOS(1). A flash memory(5) is recognized using a primary master of an IDE controller(3) according to a pre-set booting sequence. A booting is performed as an operating system(51) of the flash memory(5), and hard disks(71,72,73) of the IDE controller(3) and other peripheral devices are recognized to operate a server system(100).
