Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE: A process is provided to tune the switching state of a converter lock-up clutch (WK), in an automatic transmission, and the output speed of rotation of the output shaft or the speed of rotation of the driving wheels of a vehicle by means of an electronic controller (EGS), with a computer unit, and an electric pressure regulator (EDS). CONSTITUTION: A process for tuning the switching state of a torque converter lock-up clutch (WK) in an automatic gear box to the output speed of rotation (n_ab) of the gear box output shaft or the speed of rotation (n_wheel) of the driving wheels of a vehicle by means of an electronic gear box controller (EGS) with a computer unit and an electronic pressure regulator (EDS) has the following steps: (a) the computer unit determines in a processing function (S3)a time-related gradient (dn/dt) of the speeds of rotation based on the speeds of rotation (n_wheel) measured by a measurement device (1) at the driving wheels or on the output speed of rotation (n_ab) of the gear box output shaft when the torque converter lock-up clutch is activated; (b) in a discriminating function (S4), it is checked if the gradient (dn/dt) of speeds of rotation is higher than a threshold value (GW_1) and if that is the case, a processing function (S6) is started to quickly open the torque converter lock-up clutch (WK); (c) in a discriminating function (S8), it is checked if a predetermined interrupt criterion is satisfied. If that is the case, a processing function (S9) is started to cause a return to a main program. If that is not the case, the processing function (S6) branches off for quickly opening the activated torque converter lock-up clutch (WK).
