Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE: A method for forging a titanium metal is provided to produce titanium metal products having high fatigue intension or high ductility with a low cost. CONSTITUTION: A method for producing an engine valve comprises: the processes of preparing titanium sinter material containing more than 1wt% of stable ceramic particles and/or pores among titanium alloy; forging a titanium metal by heating the material in a forging temperature; heating a sinter billet(10); forming a stem by extruding the billet in a state of remaining one part of the heated billet as a rest; correcting a shaft bent by rolling extruded stem after reheating; and forming a hat unit by hot swage-forging the rest.
