TELEVISION HAVING FIRE DETECTING APPARATUS

PURPOSE: A television having a fire detecting apparatus is provided to prevent an electric appliance from being degraded and/or prevent a danger of a fire generation before it happens. CONSTITUTION: A television having a fire detecting apparatus includes a detecting part(20)and a part(21) controlling a power supply. The detecting part is attached on the side of a CRT and detects an abnormal state like as a high temperature or a fire generation and inputs the detected state signal to a micro-computer(14). The part(21) controlling a power supply controls the power supply with an on/off method according to a control signal outputted from the micro-computer after judging a state according to a state signal being inputted from the detecting part. The power supply is temporarily off when an overheat state of the inside of the main body is detected by the detecting part.
