Zusammenfassung: | PURPOSE: A colored material for the back side plate of a plasma display panel is provided to etch with the velocity capable of ensuring a low temperature plasticity and a productivity and gain a colored material which has a precise structure after a diaphragm is formed by an etching and of which the mechanical intensity and the thermostability are large. CONSTITUTION: A colored material for the back side plate of a plasma display panel is a colored material composed of PbO 43-91wt%, SiO2 21wt% and below, B2O3 26wt% and below, Al2O3 7wt% and below, ZnO 35wt% and below, Na2O+K2O+Li2O 15wt% and below, and BaO+CaO+MgO+SrO 15wt%. Also, the colored material is composed of, at least, one kind or more among glass powders of which the softening temperature is 320-550°C(a coefficient of thermal expansion is 62-110x10-7/°C) and in which th diameter of a particle of the powder is 0.5-17um, and includes an organic material supporting that.
