METHOD FOR IDENTIFYING DIFFUSION SPECTRUM SIGNAL

PURPOSE: A methode for identifying a diffusion spectrum signal is provided to separate a pilot path having a useful SNR within a short time. CONSTITUTION: A methode for identifying a diffusion spectrum signal comprises the steps of: receiving a modulated radio frequency signal by a predetermined diffusion spectrum code; demodulating the radio frequency signal; generating the predetermined ratio by the diffusion spectrum code and an encoded signal according to a practically same ratio; providing a predetermined code offset set to search a signal of other path of a base station; processing the demodulation signal by a generation signal of a first offset to generate a value related to correlation between the demodulation signal and the generated signal; increasing a counter corresponding to a first offset if the determined value is larger than a predetermined threshold; and repeating the processing and the determining steps.
