SEMICONDUCTOR INTEGRATED CIRCUIT AND DATA PROCESSING SYSTEM

PURPOSE: A semiconductor integrated circuit and data processing system is provided, which integrates a great amount of memory with a logic circuit in one chip. CONSTITUTION: The semiconductor integrated circuit comprises: memory macros (5Ma-5Md) including a plurality of memory bank having a word line selected by a row address signal, a bit line to be connected to the data line, a memory cell to be installed on the cross point between the word line and the bit line, and a sense amplifier for latching a storage information which is read from the memory cell; and an access control circuit (4) including an output circuit of a command and an address signal for operating the memory bank, a hit judging circuit for outputting data latched in the sense amplifier to the data line, and an address pre-reading circuit for pre-reading data from the memory cell to the sense amplifier. Thereby, it is possible to improve the hit rate of a sense amplifier cache.
